Share the Warmth Campaign: Coat & Warm Clothing Drive - Oct. 6th 11-3pm

The stark reality is that 1 in 5 British Columbia children live below the poverty line.  It is estimated that this statistic is even higher in our own community, as increasing numbers of young Nanaimo children belong to families struggling to make ends meet.  That means that families may not have access to warm winter clothing.
My team, Layzell Dreger & Associates, is excited to launch our 2019 Share the Warmth campaign.   This community partnership will collect new and gently worn coats and jackets, new socks, scarves, and gloves to be distributed by our local Salvation Army free to children and adults in Nanaimo.  We appreciate Core Insurance, Pacific Station Notaries and Adam Hawryluk for their support and sponsorship of this event with us.
We are asking for your support of the
Share the Warmth campaign that will be held on Sunday, October 6th from 11am to 3pm, at Pacific Station, located at 5220 Dublin Way.  There will be a FREE BBQ during our event so you can donate and enjoy a free hot dog, chips and drink during drop off.

Together, with your help, we can help local families share the warmth on Oct. 6th!  Check our our fun event video here:
